Imaging blood flow using cameras
Challenge: Healthy blood flow is critical for our wellness. As a result, both macro-circulatory parameters (like heart rate and blood pressure) and micro-circulatory parameters (like blood perfusion) capture crucial clinically relevant information. However, for most these parameters, we do not have non-invasive modalities for continuous measurements.
Our solution: We are developing a suite of imaging-based methods, to measure both macro and micro-circulatory parameters. Combining computer vision, sensor fusion and advanced algorithms, our driving goal is to convert common cameras into clinical-grade devices.
